I had been contemplating getting highlights again, because my own highlight where almost completely gone. I had a certain natural sun kissed coupe for 2 years, but lately it had been taken over by my natural hair colour dark brown. Somehow my hair is getting darker, the older im getting haha at least i still have color, although i must share with you that i found two grey hair since summer (OMG, what is happening?) Soooooo to get back on track, i chose to get some balayage and it was magnificent. My hair has never looked this magical, my jaw dropped. You know the awkward feeling you always have when you sort of look like a boy in the hairdresser chair with a cape around your neck, having your head popping out looking horrible because your hair is pulled back and wet. I have that each time...it is always very exciting when they are blowdrying your hair and you are just waiting for the results. So it is safe to say that my expectations where blown out of the water, i always hope and hope the results will be amazing but that is not always the case. But this time i was surprised in a good way. So if you are thinking about getting yourself some highlights or balayage then you should, because it really brightens your whole appeal. It gives you the glow you want to have especially during winter times feeling all gloomy and cold. Hope you will take the same leap i did, because i am so happy with my results! I got my hair done at Flawser Embassy in Amsterdam, but i am sorry to say that they have recently gone bankrupt. The hairdresser that did my hair is still working as a hairdresser and she has found herself a loyal client, because i will follow her anywhere! Because my beauty mantra is - hair is holy

LOVE FOR ALOE

A while ago I received some products from an Aloe Vera company to try out. I have always loved Aloe Vera, since it offers us many health benefits and i am very careful what i apply to my skin.

Soft skin CREAM - Aloe Vera

The facial cream i am testing has a great smell and is a white creamy substance. It feels very refreshing when applying to the skin. I have a very dry skin, so sometimes my face will still pull afterwards but thats just because i need a deeply dehydrating cream in order to feel like my face is comfortable. My skin looks great after using the product for about two weeks, i have not had any spots or crazy pimples lately even during my period. I think if you are very aware of the products you use on your body you will definitely get many benefits from using Aloe Vera, because it's very natural and closest to nature then anything else. I did not react in a bad way to the cream or experience any negative side effects, i am very happy with the product and will continue using it till it's finished!

Aloe Vera Shampoo

For my hair i received the shampoo. Again the shampoo smells very fresh and is a clear substance. It moisturizes my hair and i have noticed a less itchy scalp, since i only try to wash my hair 2/3(max) a week. When you don't wash your hair as often your scalp gets the tendency to itch like crazy, but this shampoo really balances out my pH (how scientific of me). As with the facial cream i have not experienced any negative side effects with the shampoo, and if you have a very sensitive skin like me and looking for a new product range, then you might want to check these guys out!

Bondi Sands

So spring time is slowly coming, the sun is shining and birds are waking me up at 6 am in the morning. I see myself awaking from my deep winter depression and handeling life again. I have ordered a new self tanner which i am dying to try from Bondi Sands. I have heard a lot of good things about them and seeing the best results. I will be sharing my before and after soon after i test the product. I ordered the Dark self tanning foam and it has a lovely texture and coconut scent. So far so good. I have a very sensitive skin so i always patch test my products before applying them to my whole body to prevent a heavy allergic reaction. In light of this great new product (Review will be coming soon) i have some tanning inspo for you guys. 

Wonder woman

A couple of days ago i made a post about the Biosilk shampoo and conditioner line. But i must add to that post that this silky serum is seriously the secret ingredient to any hair problems. My hairdresser always uses it and gave me the golden tip a few years ago. Your hair literally turns into silk. I love it and i always use it after curling my hair, this brings out the curls even more. It makes them really wavy, as if you just came from the hairdresser. So i can really vouch for the people who want to get the most beautiful hair. It's amazing, just add a drop of serum to dry hair, not on the roots though it will get very greasy, but just apply the serum to your ends and stroke it through your hair. You can also try mixing it with a drop of water to get a better texture. Results, beautiful soft and volumized hair. So for the people with really damaged hair, try the whole series of biosilk shampoo, conditioner and serum. I have used all and they are really amazing!

I have an eyebrow obsession. I love styling my eyebrows until they are perfect. First i use an eyebrow pencil to shape my brows, then i use an eyebrow mascara/gel and as a finishing touch i use a highlighter. Both products are from Benefit Cosmetics, because they are the best brand for designing the perfect eyebrows. They carry more cool make up products so it's definitely a brand worth trying.

Silky smooth

Each day we blow dry  straighten, color, curl our hair. After all that abuse, our hair needs the occasional intense nourishing treatments to maintain a healthy set of hair. I don't like going to the hairdresser, because they always cut off more than i find necessary. I know they are the experts and they know how much to cut off in order for you hair to stay healthy, but i like to cut my own hair. At least i can grow it like this. I am always searching for new products that will exceed the last. I have found a very nice hair care line from Biosilk, which makes my hair grow very fast. My hair seems healthier, thicker, longer and stronger. I know that for us ladies it is always a hard task to find a good product that we can stick with. I don't know if it works for everybody because everyone has different hair, but they carry different lines. The line that i use is the hydrating therapie line.

CLEANING YOUR BRUSHES 

Most importantly don't forget to clean your brushes if you wan't to use them for a longer time. Iconic Londen advises to gently clean your brushes on an absorbent towel after use to preserve your brushes and avoid the build of product.

1. Apply a small amount of shampoo to the hairs
2. Supporting the head of the brush gently massage the brush in circular motions on the palm of your hand
3. Keep rinsing the hairs until the water runs clear. Do not submerge the brush hair in water.
4. Holding the hair bundle press the excess water out of the hairs against a soft, absorbent towel
5. Allow the brush to dry over night

Destock my cellu

Cellulite is a common problem for females, it is a condition in which the skin appears to have areas with underlying fat deposits, giving it a dimpled, lumpy appearance. It is most noticeable on the buttocks and thighs. It's not that i am experiencing heavy duty cellulite, but i do notice a difference if my diet is bad or i am drinking a lot of wine. Next to having a good diet, weight training does miracles for cellulite. But after reading a couple of good reactions about this wonder serum from Vichy, I wanted to give it a try. They say you will have results in 14 days, so as a part of my healthy lifestyle and fitness regime i am going to see if it makes a difference. Note that i do not believe in any wonder potions or creams to make you loose weight or become slimmer. I do believe that with the proper diet and workout it can boost your process of loosing weight or becoming tighter. So let's see if after 14 days there are real results! i am very curious.
