I always have a hard time finding the perfect brushes to apply my makeup. I have tested several brushes and my top two brands are Iconic Londen and MAC Cosmetics. From MAC Cosmetics i love the 130SH Short Duo Fibre Brush, this is a short-handled brush. It can be used for applying foundations, creams and powders. It is so soft and i t feels amazing on your skin.
CLEANING YOUR BRUSHES
Most importantly don't forget to clean your brushes if you wan't to use them for a longer time. Iconic Londen advises to gently clean your brushes on an absorbent towel after use to preserve your brushes and avoid the build of product.
- Apply a small amount of shampoo to the hairs
- Supporting the head of the brush gently massage the brush in circular motions on the palm of your hand
- Keep rinsing the hairs until the water runs clear. Do not submerge the brush hair in water.
- Holding the hair bundle press the excess water out of the hairs against a soft, absorbent towel
- Allow the brush to dry over night
