prada marfa

I have recently re-painted some of the walls in my house into a very relaxing sage colour, including my bedroom. I love it, it really gives the whole space a sense of serenity and bliss. I had ordered a Prada Marfa canvas from Westwing and i got it in the mail today, i am so happy with it. It immediately sets a whole different tone for my room. It is so stylish and a real statement piece. I will be posting some pictures after the weekend after my Halloween party! Enjoy your weekend my lovely readers.

Organize your life

Packing used to always be the most impossible task for me. I would always be scared to bring to little or over do it, especially on short trips. I travel quite often and i have gotten the hang of it over the year. I have come up with a better system to help myself stay organized. I always used to struggle with my handbag, it would be filled with so many small things and i could never find anything in it. Especially when looking for my boarding ticket or passport. I always used to pack my bags last minute, i have come to learn that this is not the best strategie. Because i would always be stressed out and running around my house like a crazy person, having the fear of forgetting important items. One time i wen't on a holiday to a warm country. My bag was filled with tops, but i had completely forgotten to bring any kind of shorts. This obviously became a fun shopping spree, but not the most ideal situation. I love to travel, it still amazes me how you can be in one place and then travel to the other side of the world and wake up in a whole different country hours later. It's like stepping into a special machine that changes your whole environment, walking into the airplane in one country and out again in another. Oh how special is this world we live in, how many differences there are in the world and how we can learn from each other. Anyway i am wondering off topic a bit now, back to organizing. I have found a smart and fashionable way to organize all of the little things which often get lost in your suitcase or handbag. Chanel Spring/Summer 2017

As a little girl i have always loved fashion, i am only 5ft4 so a life on the catwalk was never meant for me. I have always dreamed of a moment of fame, strutting down a catwalk and showing off the most amazing designs. I always get inspired by all the amazing different styles and inspiring creative designs. My favorite designer is Coco Chanel, i love the history behind this Parisian brand, it amazes me. And this year no disappointments here, because they had another amazing showcase.

See food diet

If you are a seafood lover this is a real must for you! It might not be the new talk of the town, but it certainly is trending in my adressbook. A couple of weeks ago i had dinner at the seafood bar. I had already heard a lot about them and they have a restaurant just around the corner of my house. We had to reserve two days ahead, because apparantly they are always full, unless you don't mind eating late. We had a bottle of wine, oysters on the house and the deluxe mixed seafood grill platter, OH MY....best food i have ever tasted, atleast in a very long time. The people serving you are just the nicest and really help to create an overall experience, they even gave me a seafood bib, because clumsy me was spilling all the good stuff everywhere. 

Just sharing with you that if you have not been there yet, you must must must go. It is the real deal. More of a meat lover? no worries they have a sister: the meat club. Also with the same concept, and really great food. Oh and i think the most important part is: DON'T OVERDRESS. I came there and people were wearing sweatpants. I mean i love to dress up, so i don't care. But if you are to dressed up, it can be a bit awkward.

Hope you go and have some seafood, because they are without a doubt the best in town.

Hide and seek

Always looking for a way to store things? I know i have a lot of clothes and shoes and little space to store them. I find that closets make your room look smaller, because they are big and take up a lot of space. A little while ago i came across a beautiful and practical idea to store special items, which i only wear occasionally. It looks amazing in your interior and you don't see any clutter. I like a neat and spacious environment, because it gives my soul space at the same time. And closets tend to give you the opportunity to hoard things, while this object is subtle. It offers you another way to store items, but becomes a part of your interior at the same time. So you won't even want to hoard things in a beautiful case like this. My preference goes out to the suitcase. But not just any suitcase, the vintage, old and large kind of trunk. It can serve as a seat, a coffee table or even a hocker at the end of your bed. I have found some amazing trunks, while looking for one to place in my home. I have collected some amazing pictures for you, so you can get inspired and start decorating yourself.

Monday blues

The topic for today is an inspirational desk, because it is Monday and everybody needs some extra motivation to get their brains running again. I think we all know the Monday blues, feeling  like putting work off. This is why i love to search for desk inspiration, it is important to have a great desk, which is clean, stylish and in some cases fashionable. This will not only inspire your creative mind, but also give you good work karma.
