This weekend i visited an amazing city in Limburg (Netherlands). Maastricht is the coziest and one of the most beautiful cities i know in the South of Holland. I had such an amazing weekend their, if you are still looking for a great city to visit, this is worth a look. It's perfect for a smal visit, two nights. So you have enough time to browse the city, but don't overspend your time because it's not that big. From the weekend of the 2end of december on they have a Christmas market. Where you can munch on Bratwurst and street food, Ice skate and stroll down the small little stands and find cute original Christmas presents. On Saturday night me and my boyfriend intended to eat at Kiwi, a hip and fun student restaurant in Maastricht. Once we got there it was gone and now it's called The Lab. We where very pleasantly surprised. They had amazing food for amazing prices, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. As a student we got a student discount, 20%. How awesome? good food and discount we love! We had Nacho's and fried Calamaris as a starter, secondly we had the American Hot Dog (WOUW!) and as a desert the Cheesecake was just from another world..So if you are planning a great romantic weekend to Maastricht, then please visit The Lab for a great drink (they specialize in Gin Tonics) or a bite to eat. It is definitely worth it.
